About Us

I came up with this project because there is such a clear need right now for positive, visual connection within the trans community. A reminder. A reflection. We need to see ourselves just being. Outside of tragedy and outside of a transition narrative.

One of the most accessible ways I felt that could happen was by showing trans people loving and being loved, in partnership. There’s something so contagious about watching people be in love. It allows you to take a breath. It reminds you of what’s possible.

At a moment when things feel so horrible, when trans people are being so heavily targeted, this series offers a pause. A small ray of sunshine. A secret garden. In the midst of it all, a chance to step away, even briefly, and witness fellow trans people being loved on, cherished, and loving in return.

Trans people are powerful, creative beings with so much experience and depth. This project exists to reflect that back to us.
